The Co-Investor Screening Test

We apply a 10 point test when screening companies. We're looking for:

1. small caps listed on ASX, NZX or SGX, or companies close to listing;
2. tangible products and services generating revenues from diversified repeat customer bases;
3. market leadership, or the ability to get there quickly;
4. cashflow profits in clear sight, with growth;
5. committed, talented management with capital at risk;
6. a clear need for an active funding partner;
7. the ability to generate at least 2x money and a 20% IRR, ungeared;
8. a clear exit strategy to a trade buyer;
9. minimal exposure to start-ups or the resources, biotechnology and property sectors; and
10. minimum investment of A$10 million.
